Can you check now?
I changed your GD permalink from “Add city slug in listing urls” to “Add full location info with country, region and city slug in listing urls”.
The setting you had only works if you have a site for one region only.December 26, 2014 at 7:48 am in reply to: What is the correct way of removing the comments from the page template? #25460If you do not want to use the WP settings to disallow comments, you can just remove this from your page templates:
<?php comments_template(); ?>This reply has been marked as private. You are the first one ever to report anything like that, and since you have already the compatibility plugin, you must have unzipped the file already.
Always run a virus check over a ZIP file if you don’t trust the source, before extracting it or uploading it.
But having said that, all files on WP and ThemeTailors are subject to the best of checks, so it is highly unlikely to be the source of your problem on your other site.
To be honest, no idea, except that you must have tried to visit that site [the one mentioned in the alert] and that site has some malware installed.
Have you been able to fix your Avada problem?
I guess you are using Yoast’s SEO plugin.
If you do, that setting is controlled by that plugin:

For example, on the real homepage you could have only listings with an image or featured, and then on the location pages you filter by location etc.
Example which uses a “real” homepage: http://www.2cv.com.au/

There is probably a way to edit your templates, but there is really no need for it.
The file you refer to would have nothing to do with pages, comments on pages are WP and theme controlled.
And if you want to hide comments from the GD listings, GD > design > detail > Exclude selected tabs from detail page > reviewsWP > Appearance > Menu > change the automatic homelink with a custom URL link.
On another note, if you don’t give the location switcher to your visitors, they have no way of knowing what location they navigated to, and it does not allow them to choose a particular location.
You have not downloaded the Avada GD child theme yet.
You need to activate that theme first, and then GD and the compability plugin.Let us know how you go.

GD uses its own uploader, and this saves both server space and maximises speed.December 24, 2014 at 10:40 pm in reply to: What is the correct way of removing the comments from the page template? #25420“You can also control this on a post by post basis.”
When you change the main WP settings, that does not change the settings for posts and pages already created.
So you need to go to these posts and untick the “allow comments” box.TIP: Link your HOME button to /location
The difference is that the ME page does not have a TOP section, and the map is in the TOP section.
