the only work around is to use 1 multiselect field that includes all the options that you need as checkboxes. The multiselect field as an option to show as checkboxes in the add listing form: “Multiselect display type”

Then you can use the same field as an advance search filter added to the main search bar.

It is impossible to include multiple custom fields into a single search filter.

The only time one of my site have been hacked that way, it was because I had a malware on my PC that scanned my FTP client saved passwords. The hacker uploaded the corrupted files directly via FTP.

I’d suggest to change all your passwords and keep them safe.

FYI

Arbolife uses Kleo, but customized the directory part to look like Supreme.

Basically the owner of Arbolife took the code available in the file inc/geodirectory-compatibility.php of Supreme and adapted it for Kleo.

You must have decent PHP skills to do something like that.

Either what you suggests, or specify in the field description that free listings only permit 1 parent category and no sub-categories.
