demo has been built through CSV imports and it worked flawlessly. Not that many listings, but not one error while uploading them either…

if you have problems uploading a file, just zip it before uploading it.

no there isn’t… You must have separators for it to work, however you can change that to whatever you want.

Yes Manilaboy, we will provide instructions, but they will be instructions for developers anyway…
Not at the moment, an addon will have to be build to make the 2 plugins communicate.
I know Tim’ has been playing with it and could quite easily make new places appear in buddypress stream, but he added code to achieve it.
if you want to move everything through CSV files, you’ll have to clean up the files 1st.
Soon we will build and provide GT to GD conversion tools.
But if you can’t wait, the only option you have is to make the CSV correct.
Make sure to also use the right custom post type names, GD uses gd_place / gd_event…
