    Hi,

I have just purchased the buddy press integration add-on. I have activated the plugin but I haven’t been redirected to GeoDirectory > BuddyPress Integration as explained in the page https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/buddypress-integration-add-on-overview/

    Could you please help me?

    Thank you in advance.

    Best,
    Beatrice

Is BuddyPress already installed and activated? The Integration doesn’t work if BuddyPress is not active.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

Hi, the plugin is now active. It works now. Thank you!

    I have 2 issues though:

    1. On the right side bar of the Buddypress page there are links such as archives, recent comments, etc. How can I remove them from the right side bar?

    2. The header does not show right on the buddypress page. Please see attached screenshot.

    Could you help me please?

    Best,
    Beatrice

We will need your URL and WP admin details in a private reply so we can check things out.
The widgets in the sidebar are the widgets in your normal page sidebar.

Both directory starter and supreme themes need updating, that should fix the issue.

    1. Remove from the “Sidebar Blog” section at Appearance > Widgets

You also need to update Supreme, you will need to do that using FTP and make sure you merge any customizations you might have made.

    1. I removed the widgets in the sidebar blog. Thank you for this!

    2. How to update Supreme using FTP? Never done it till now. Any instructions?

What kind of customizations are you referring to? I only use the widgets and plugins available on WordPress. Don’t know how to code at all.

Thank you for your precious help.

    Best,
    Beatrice

    Hi Beatrice,

If you did not apply any customizations to the theme using custom code, you’ll be fine. Just update the theme by replacing the theme files directly through FTP or use a plugin to help you with this. https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Thank you for the info. I have installed the ‘easy theme and plugin upgrades’ plugin and activated it. But nothing happens. What should I do for Supreme to be updated?

    Thank you in advance.

    Best,
    Beatrice

    Hi,

the easy theme and plugin upgrade allows to upload a theme or plugin, like you were installing it the 11st time and update the theme or plugin if already exists in your install.

Basically, you have to download the zip file of the latest version of Supreme and reinstall it. It will ask you if you want to update the existing theme, select yes.

    Thanks

Hi, I downloaded the last version of Supreme and re-installed it. But it didn’t ask me to update the existing theme. What did I not do?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi,

That is because Supreme is a child theme and as such it doesn’t alert for auto updates.

You need to overwrite old files in wp-content/themes or use a plugin like this to upgrade it: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/

    Thanks

    Hi,

I have tried to use the plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/ after downloading the last version of Supreme, but no upgrading is happening.

    Could you help me please?

    Thank you in advance.
    Best,
