Hi, I have been trying to update one translation and haven’t been able to get it to work. I believe I am doing everything ok since everything seems to be translated except by this phrase. Probably the po file for that ítem doesn’t match the php string.

It is: “This is a preview of your listing and its not updated yet. If there is something wrong then “Go Back and Edit” or if you want to update listing then click on “Update Now”.”

Please let me know if you need admin credentials. Attached you will find the po and mo file of the translation.

Another question, what happens if I have 3 different versions of a mo file in the following locations, which one will wordpress use?
    1)/home/celebrac/public_html/wp-content/languages/geodirectory-es_ES.mo
    2)/home/celebrac/public_html/wp-content/languages/geodirectory/geodirectory-es_ES.mo
    3)/home/celebrac/public_html/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-languages/geodirectory-es_ES.mo

    Thanks,
    Eduardo

    Hi Eduardo,

If you’ve installed the “Payments Manager” addon, the string below has to be translated in the addons https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/

“This is a preview of your listing and its not updated yet. If there is something wrong then “Go Back and Edit” or if you want to update listing then click on “Update Now”.”

    Thanks!

    Hi Kor,

Thank you for your quick and correct response. I finally found it and fix it.

Could you please give your comments about my other question?

    Hi there,

You’ll just have to remove either #1 or #2 for translating purposes. I’ve consulted a developer he mentioned that GD would probably choose #2 for priority and #3 will not be used in this case. I hope this clears it up and please refer to this section of the documentation for more information https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/

    Thanks!

    Hello Kor,
For my part i did exactly what is shownig in video, this is not my first time translating WP, via Poedit, it Wordked perfectly at first but then when i added new posts it goes back to english language knowing that the audience for the site is from Belgium so French spoken, and even with translated .po files and update GD => Multilocations => Translate country, after inserting new posts it goes back to english,
So now i have posts in French and new posts in english and this problem concerne only the country part,
please see attached file and thank you for your support.

Kor, Is there an easy way to find in what .po file a string can be found?. I usually have a lot of troubles to find if what I want to translate is located in a theme, core or add-on file.

For instance, the latest one I am having troubles with is the Upgrade listing link found in the detail page sidebar.

Your assistance will be very appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Eduardo

    Hi,

the only way is to use logic.

For example, anything related to price Upgrades, must be in the Payment Manager add-on.

    Thanks
