Booking Marketplace for Appointments?

I would absolutely put this feature to use. In addition to the directory I'm working on now, I have ideas for a few other directories and all would benefit from this feature. It would be a great add on to offer clients. I've considered switching to another combination of plugins to make this booking by hourly time slow functionality work but of course would prefer to stay in the GD ecosystem.

justmark It's a third-party tool that we never officially announced, but we have shared the link in the past. It has been around for at least two or three years. I don't know if it is compatible with GetPaid, but you should confirm it with its developer...

paolo I sent them a message. I really want to standardize on Get Paid if possible. I will post what they have to say when I hear.

paolo WP Base does not support Get Paid. It does support Woo Commerce though.

stiofan Let me know what the likelihood of this being developed before the end of 2025 as that is when I am planing to implement it or look for an alternative. I think there is a strong business case of allowing bookings of appointments. Thanks!

justmark hey Mark, just curious. Because I'm looking at other appointment booking alternatives myself. But have you come across any potential 3rd party appointment booking tools that might work? I heard a rumor that this 3rd party plugin called Amelia could work

morg There are a few. My issue is that I am trying to use Get Paid for this functionality and they all use WooCommerce at the very least.

Of course I would but honestly... some of the 3rd party competitors out there are REALLY polished... I mean like it seems they really went all out with their UI's and everything. But to reiterate, i would definitely use GD's inhouse version if they can build one and match "some" of the capabilities of other, more dedicated appointment softwares. But it almost seems like it'll be a really long wait.

Here's what I'd like to see that "might" require a lot of attention when building: So take a nail tech directory for example. I'd like to see the ability to not only book a time and date, BUT also include a list of services at different prices that the customers can choose, like manicure for $40, pedicure for $45, etc. So it'll be like a whole checkout and cart for purchasing.

morg My issue is that none of the 3rd party tools support Get Paid. This is why I am pushing for the GD version to incorporate bookings that are not just physical locations.

+1 . I also would like for the feature to become available on GD and have full Get Paid support. That is a missing Key feature that is holding me back from being able to build a site I have in mind.
