Booking Marketplace for Appointments?

Are there any plans to be able to offer appointment bookings with the Booking Marketplace as opposed to physical locations? I would like to offer my clients the ability to accept appointment bookings for a price.

There are plans, but we have not seen a huge amount of people asking for it so it keeps getting pushed down the list. If people want it let's hear them 🙂

stiofan Let me know what the likelihood of this being developed before the end of 2025 as that is when I am planing to implement it or look for an alternative. I think there is a strong business case of allowing bookings of appointments. Thanks!

My directory would benefit from calendars showing availability since they're birth workers and can only take a certain number of client every month. It would help people to which which one is available. A booking calendar could be nice to book a consult.

I would love an appointment bookung plugin. i have for example music and language schools in my directory. That could be a perfect feature for them 🙂

I would absolutely put this feature to use. In addition to the directory I'm working on now, I have ideas for a few other directories and all would benefit from this feature. It would be a great add on to offer clients. I've considered switching to another combination of plugins to make this booking by hourly time slow functionality work but of course would prefer to stay in the GD ecosystem.

justmark It's a third-party tool that we never officially announced, but we have shared the link in the past. It has been around for at least two or three years. I don't know if it is compatible with GetPaid, but you should confirm it with its developer...

paolo I sent them a message. I really want to standardize on Get Paid if possible. I will post what they have to say when I hear.

paolo WP Base does not support Get Paid. It does support Woo Commerce though.

justmark hey Mark, just curious. Because I'm looking at other appointment booking alternatives myself. But have you come across any potential 3rd party appointment booking tools that might work? I heard a rumor that this 3rd party plugin called Amelia could work

morg There are a few. My issue is that I am trying to use Get Paid for this functionality and they all use WooCommerce at the very least.

morg Would you prefer to use the GD Bookings add-on if it supported appointment bookings? I am trying to build support for the developers to make this a priority.
