Membership Cancellation

    Hi guys

    I just received the notification about the membership cancellation.
    What does this mean exactly? I paid for a year, do I get my money back and need to sign up again or did you only cancelled the recuring payments and my membership will exist for the whole year?

    Is there a documentation about what changed in detail?

    Hi,

    we only cancelled the recuring payments and the memberships will continue till they expire.

    Once expired you’ll need to re-subscribe using the new system.

    Basically we moved from a Membership plugin and a lot of custom code to Easy Digital Download.

    We will shut down themetailors.com soon and we’ll allow vendors (like Jeff) to sell their 3rd party addons directly on this website.

    The only things that change for you is the licencing system for auto updates and the style of the download page. (however the old one will keep on working for the next few weeks)

    so, when our renewal is up, the price will be the same for all the downloads? who was supposed to see the newsletter? the only thing I received was my auto renewal cancelation.

    yes the price will be the same. The newsletter was sent to all members with an active subscription.

    You guys might want to check the newsletter send. Sounds like it either didn’t go or wasn’t complete.
