GD Page Details Widget Area

Hi,

1. Am I right in thinking that GD Page Details widget area (in GDF Modern Child) is only on the pages that I create as non-specialist/listing-related pages, e.g., pages of general content? – if not, where does it appear (I can’t find any documentation on widget areas and its description just says: “the first (primary) sidebar”)?

2.How do I turn off the right sidebar area (GD Page Details?) for all the non-listing content pages I create? In GD>Design I can enable/disable the right section of Home page, Listing Page, Search page, Author page – the only other page – Detail page (headed “Detail/Single Page Settings”) appears to be for a single listing page – and doesn’t have the option to turn off Right Content section in any case.
