    Question… Just wondering why when people Like my website on Facebook, the LIKE count does not update on the actual website?

    Make sure you are checking the same page on your site as the page liked on FB.
    I just liked your homepage and it added my like.

    Guust,

    I believe the issue is that the likes on the FB page do not count on the actual website. I the website reflect that there is currently 6 LIKES right now where in reality there are 44 likes on FB. Is there a LIKE widget where the #’s reflect the actual likes on the FB page rather than the likes on each individual web page (e.g. Home page, Places page, Add new page)?

    Hi,

    the like button counts the likes received from that page on your website.

    This doesn’t increment likes on your facebook page or viceversa. They are totally unlinked.

    To display numbers of users that likes your facebook page, you need to use another tool called like box. https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-box-for-pages

    You can find the code here and use it in in a text widget in any widget area.

    I’ve generated the code to use the LIKE BOX however it states to first put the SDK. What is that and where do i generate that?
