Home Menu takes me to wrong homepage

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    When you click the “Home” choice when in a listing, the Home it takes me to is my Websites homepage, not the GD home page. See menu in picture.

    How can I make that go to http://www.occnewspaper.com/gd-home/ instead of http://www.occnewspaper.com/ ?

    “home” is your website homepage, not your directory startpage.
    If you want the homepage to be the directory startpage you have to set WP Settings > Reading to GD Home as your home page. I have done that for you.

    Actually, thats not right!!! I must not have the GD be my WP Homepage, the GD is a small subset of the larger website, not the main purpose. Please change it back!!! Can wechange the code so the GD menu “home” takes you to the GD homepage?

    I fixed it…whew…So, can we load a bit of custom css to fix the problem and have the menu refer to my GD home page?

    I reverted to your home page, I tested the breadcrumb and they work correctly. Guust probably misunderstood because him too couldn’t see what you explained. You have a lot of outdated plugins, you should update them all, finally you should delete w3 total cache and make sure to delete any file/folder it created in wp-content.

    I will get them updated….I am afraid to break something .

    Any solution to this? Any custom code we could load to get the GD menu to point to only the GD homepage? Can I load GD on a sub-domain and have it work then with GD homepage set how Guust did it?

    Also my other thread…I don’t get the comment… is “all” checked? I am not sure where that is or what you are refeering too.

    The home link in the breadcrumb is redirecting to your website home page. The only way to make it redirect to the gd home would be to use that page as the home page, which you say you don’t want…
