GeoDirectory Avada child theme

    I post this Avada related topic inside this code core forum as there is no forum dedicated the child themes. Is the GeoDirectory Avada child theme needed for an existing Avada theme installation? When the plugin is now installed at cretemix.com/location it all comes up correctly. So what possible additional elements are inside this child theme? And can this child theme be utilized when GeoDirectory does not make the website home page? There is also an Avada compatibility addon available for download. Is this OK to use when GeoDirectory does not make the website home page?

    Hi, The Avada child theme and plugin are designed to work together, and should both be used. Ultimately we want to only use the plugin, but at this time the child is also necessary.

    If you are already using your own child theme and don’t want to swap, you could copy header.php from our child theme and put it in yours.

    Is the Avada child theme and the Avada compatibility plugin compatible with the latest Avada 3.6.2 version as I do now plan to upgrade the theme?

    The GeoDirectory Avada child theme header.php is now placed within the original site child theme for cretemix.com/location which is now upgraded also to latest Avada 3.6.2 version. That header.php file and the Avada compatibility plugin usage resulted in better map design. There seems to be no problem with this latest Avada version. When the Avada compatibility plugin was first activated without that header.php file, there were no home page map coming up.

    The map however does not fill the complete page width. In backend, no such map width setting is found. How to let the map fill the complete page width then?
