    Can you please share the CSS that would disable the following sections from the front end only:

    1. Listing Description – This is no longer necessary since I’m echoing a custom field to replace the information in the main tab of the detail page.
    2. Tag keywords

    If it’s not possible to disable the listing description from the front end, is it at least possible to restrict that area from containing links or code? Opening it up seems like an open door to potential spammers.

    Thanks,

    Scott

    1. Listing description is a compulsory field so if hidden with CSS, submissions will no longer be possible. I’ll get Paolo to have a look at your question, I think there might be some JS code that might work.

    2. Add this:

    #geodir_post_tags_row {display:none;}

    For future CSS tweaks: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/

    3. Personally, I would keep the spammers from registering in the first place with the GD Recaptcha, but let’s ask Paolo to if HTML can be prevented in the description field.

    Hi,

    please see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/remove-tags-and-description/#post-55058

    Add your default text with that jquery and use CSS to hide the field from the form.

    Thanks
