    Hello, thancks for your plugin. I use geodirectory and more addons with on Divi Theme but I have a little problem.
    I want to create a similar front end like supreme child theme. I use the shortcode to insert the serch bar in a row but appears a space.

    What can I do to have all the boxes in the same line and delated the space?

    My last question is how I can insert an icon (like supreme theme) on the search button?

    Thancks

    Hi Andreu,

    Thanks for sharing your Website URL. Could you try using the custom CSS below and see if it’s what you’re looking for? It should replace the search button with an icon and would look something like this screenshot http://prntscr.com/b06d85 . Insert the custom CSS code below into GD > Design > Script > Custom CSS

    @media (min-width: 981px){
        .et_pb_gutters3 .et_pb_column_1_2, .et_pb_gutters3.et_pb_row .et_pb_column_1_2 {
            width: 57%;
        }
    }
    @media (min-width: 981px){
        .et_pb_gutters3 .et_pb_column, .et_pb_gutters3.et_pb_row .et_pb_column {
            margin-right: 0px%;
        }
    }
    .geodir-search input[type="button"] {
        background-image: url('https://cdn1.iconfinder.com/data/icons/hawcons/32/698627-icon-111-search-128.png');
        background-repeat: no-repeat;
        background-position: top;
        background-size: 30px 30px;
        background-color:#F5F5F;
        width:80px;
        height:30px;
        font-size:0px;
        border: 0px;
    }
    span.near-compass {
        left: 465px!important;
        top: 11px!important;
    }

    Hi,

    It’s prefect because now I have some problems with the plugin. Not only css problems (it’s only dissign) but I have a little problems with the search bars and filtres bars.

    I have post events, bars and restaurants. How I can create a filter to find only by bars or only by restaurants?

    And why I can insert the correct ubication? The plugin don’t find the address that I insert.

    Thancks for all.

    HI,

    the icon appears to be where it should.

    Add this css to remove background and borders.

    .geodir-loc-bar-in {
        background: transparent none repeat scroll 0 0;
        border: 0 none;
    }

    .geodir-loc-bar {
        border-bottom: 0 none;
        border-top: 0 none;
    }

    You will need the advance search add-on to be able to search by category.

    Please provide the address you are having problem with and we will check.

    Thanks

    Hi Paolo, this code works very good.

    The last thing, we need two thing to our search box. We need that the user can choose by custom post’s categories and we need that shows the locations. I add a screenshot to explain better.

    Finally, at our home page we have a grind list of events by shortcode, how we can add a filter by dates? We want that the user can choose the events of today or up coming events.

    Thancks for all the support

    Hi,

    Categories can appear, but they won’t be in the form, they will be visible when clicking on customize my search button. Example: https://wpgeo.directory/attractions/

    All the rest would require a customization.

    Thanks
