I have set up several categories of events. I’d like to be able to list events from the front end by category. I’d also like to be able to have front end users add events by categorys, and best case the category event form could have field sets unique to that category. For example say I have a concert event, art show event, and road rally event (different categories). I’d like front end users to be able to list all the concert events by themselves. I’d like them to be able to “add concert” from a specific menu link, and best case the concert event could have different, event-relevant form fields from the road rally event.
I realize all this might not be possible, but can you advise on ways to get as close to this as possible? I believe I can list events by category (not sure details) but not clear if I could have an ‘add concert’ link or form that would create only that category of event. Your advice is appreciated.
