Hello,

Question about setting an adress on the map on the front end form.

I need to put markers on the map outside of street adresses, sometimes in areas well away from cities. Is this possible? When I do so, the map automatically finds the nearest adress and fills it in.

that is how it works, you can even put the marker in the middle of the ocean.

Hi again,

1.
So you are telling me that the map automatically finds the nearest adress and fills it in by default.

Is there a way to disable this autofill setting as I will need to be able to add markers in the wilderness, away from cities.

2.
Also, When I try to set an adress on the map by punching it in or by using the marker on the map I get a pop up telling me to pick an adress within my default location city and reverts the marker back to my default location every time. Not sure if I have some settings wrong or if it’s a bug.

1 an address is needed even if the marker will be in the middle of nowhere. You can change it to whatever you see fit.

2 you will need the location manager add-on installed.
