I think the “Business Owner/Associate?” field on the front end Add Listing form is confusing for the user. Obviously, if they are adding the listing it is their own. However, I do want to use the Claim Listing feature for other listings that I, as admin, will input on the backend, where I can check “no” for “Is Claimed”. Then the link will appear on the detail page for that listing allowing the owner to claim it. I see that if neither yes or no is selected, the link doesn’t appear, so for new listings entered, it would be OK to leave neither selected. I’m not using the “owner verified” text.
But since this is a required field, I don’t think I can hide it with CSS on the Add Listing page. Is there any workaround that will allow me to remove it from the front end of the Add Listing page, but keep the claim listing functionality?
