When new users are signing up, for example someone from Texas, they are getting into slug with texas-1, there is already a slug for texas, without the -1. It is now impossible to see all the listings of texas together, since there is no way to get the listings with -1 to appear in search. This is a serious problem

Hello, do you already have a Texas page beside the one created from GD?
Could you provide url and login details please?
    Thanks

Hello, looking at the locations you have added in the multilocation settings, you have some wrong locations in it.. a lot of “all” and some duplicates, also, when going to wp-admin/admin.php?page=geodirectory&tab=managelocation_fields&subtab=geodir_location_translate you will see india-1 and a duplicate of united states and united kingdom (UK)

OK, why is wpgeo doing that?

It is not GD, it happens when you add new places or locations, when you add a location from here wp-admin/admin.php?page=geodirectory&tab=managelocation_fields&subtab=geodir_location_addedit

I mean, this is happening because of GD, but this is happening when using the GD multilocation feature..

for example if I add a place in:
    – Italy – Rome

and then I add a place in
    – Italia – Roma

both are in ROME, but the urls are different.

technically they are different spellings, so i would expect different urls,

here when a NEW user signs up, and adds to EXISTING location, a new url with -1 is created, that does not get included in search. This defeats the point of having people sign up

This is a big problem, this problem eliminates the possibility of me continuing to use this system.

I am sure you understand why this problem makes wpgeo an UN-USABLE directory system.

Please stop telling me thats just the way it is, because this is not something a directory search engine should do.
