    Hello. I am struggling with the css to move the “Publish Button” over to the left. I have sat with people using the event posting and when it comes time to review and publish they are struggling visually to see the publish button on larger screens.

    I have used the “inspect elements” function of google but to no success. Please help.

    Kind regards,

    Hi there,

    Could you try using the custom CSS code below and see if it’s what you’re looking for?

    input.geodir_button.cancle_button,
    input.geodir_button.goback_button{
        float:left;
        margin-right:10px;
    }

    input.geodir_button.geodir_publish_button {
        position:absolute;
    }

    Thanks!

    Thank you Kor. First, thank you. I inserted the code in the Theme > edit > css section and it did not work.

    Sharing, screen shot, this is how I want it to work. (pic attached)

    Sharing, css provided in the “inspect element” window far right.

    When I copy and insert the css into the Theme > edit > css area and update the css does not stay.

    I do not know if it is a GD browser cache issue or my browser cache. I did delete the Google chrome history cache.

    Got ideas?

    Kind regards,

    Added Kor’s code to GD > Design > Scripts. Please check.

    Perfect! 🙂

    How do I know when to add items to “GD > Design > Scripts vs Theme > editor ?

    Thank you Kor and Guust. Kind regards,

    Adding to “GD > Design > Scripts” adds it to the code of every page.
    Adding it to “Theme > editor” adds it to one file only that gets loaded once on your site.
    The reason it did not work might have to do with your multi-site setup.
