Category Icon

I need guidance. I can not figure out how to assign an icon to a new category. The category is created but I do not find any way to select and assign an icon to that new category.

I purchased 3600 business icons from a stock image repository. I understand how to create icons using Illustrator and Photoshop — but the question is “Do I make the icons?”

Does GeoDirectory automatically build icons or do I need to build category icons? Do I upload my icons to the media library for use? Where did those sample icons come from?

I would like to sit quietly and read a step-by-step documentation but I can not find a pdf booklet which walks me through the various tasks of setting up the entire directory, including creating the categories and assigning category icons — is there such a document somewhere?

Why are the six sample icons different colors? Is there somewhere to set the theme colors universally using a color selector or by css — is there any documentation to show color choices, color selections, or methods to alter the Supreme Theme colors?

I can make flawless icons if that is the appropriate thing to do. See attached 6 icon samples someone else built which are uploaded as part of the demo data.

I would prefer to build my own dozen color-coordinated icons unless the GD system is designed to build the category icons?

Any help would be appreciated.
