Geodirector theme updates

    Theme “editor” section and “gd script” area. When you make this declaration prior to updates…

    “Themes

    The following themes have new versions available. Check the ones you want to update and then click “Update Themes”.

    Please Note: Any customizations you have made to theme files will be lost. Please consider using child themes for modifications.”

    Are you stating I have to copy these two locations of changes and the re-insert them? I am using a child theme on Geodirectory Frame work now.

    I will not update until I receive clarification.

    The GD script area is a GD core plugin feature, and any changes made there are not affected by any updates of themes or plugins.

    If you use a child theme for GDF and never made any changes to the GDF files itself (which you never should do anyway) then you can safely update GDF.
