Auto Updates Not Functioning

    Hi,

    The Auto Update function is not functioning for my site. I have input my username and password (as per this forum) but I do not get the option to auto update my GD Addons. Several of these Addons are now previous version and are not functioning properly with the new version of the core plugin.

    Can you please advise.

    Should I manually deactivate and delete the old and manually reinstall the new Addon versions?

    Hi,

    sorry to hear that, yes as a temporary fix I would manually download the latest versions and simply overwrite the old plugins via FTP. No need to deactivate and delete the old versions.

    If you provide a link, wp admin and ftp credentials, I’ll ask Stiofan to have a look at why auto updates are not working on your server.

    Hi Captron,

    Thanks for the details and my appoligies for your problems here, this update is a big one, it changed all the database tables to be multisite compatible which is a one time change and requires all addons to be updated also.

    The problem with your auto updates was all your plugins were renamed ADDON_NAME_org the update script needs the name to be exactly how we give it to you or it will not update, i have changed them all and the auto update worked fine so you should be good to go in the future.

    Your homepage was empty so i added a few widgets i am not sure how you had it before but you can easily rearrange them if needed.
