Selecting Categories in New Listings

Hi There,

What is the reason for the change between GeoTheme and GeoDirectory with regard to the selecting categories when entering new Place listings?

In GeoTheme you used to be able to scroll through the list and quickly select the ‘checkboxes’ associated with every category that applied to your listing.

In GeoDirectory you have to select the first category associated with a listing, then if applicable a sub-category becomes available [if child categories have been set], and so on, and so on.

If I am adding a listing that has fits within multiple category groups, it takes a very long time to add a new listing – it used to be effcient, but I find it isn’t anymore.

I know there must be a reason, can someone explain it to me? I for one preferred the GeoTheme method for selecting categories associated with a Place Listing.
