    Hi ,

    I just bought membership package yesterday.

    I import 800 over post with images.
    After import image displayed properly.

    I turn of about few plugins
    a)advance search
    b)multi location
    c)gd booster
    f)payment manager
    g)ajx duplicate
    h)multi review
    i)re-cap

    I found some of my post are not correct.
    I delete all the post.
    Correct the csv file and re-import again.

    This time , all the image are not able to display.

    When I look at upload folder , refer the attached file, the images file names are changed.
    And the number of images file are reduce half about 2700. I have over 4000 images.

    Right now , all my post are not able to show the images properly.

    I need help here how to recover the images file.

    I don’t want to re-upload one more time as I have limited disk space in my hosting. It requires about 600 M for 4000 over images.

    If I need to re-upload to fix this , I need to know where to delete the old files as I need to cleanup the disk space to make room for another upload.

    Hi,

    when you deleted and re-imported the listings, probably the upload folder where to upload the images has changed.

    To avoid that next time, you can export and re-import the listings via CSV to edit them, instead of deleting them and re-importing them.

    Now you probably just need to move the images from the July folder to the September folder (that can be done via FTP), if you provide a link and admin credentials in a private reply, I will confirm that this is the solution.

    Hi,
    2nd upload is one day after 1st upload.
    Thus , the folder is still 09 September .

    At 1st upload , the importer unable to upload some 100 records due to error in CSV , but it unable to tell me what are the failed records , so I have no choice , try fix the csv , delete and import again everything. By right , the importer should list out all the failed records so that I can only need to fix those records and import failed records. You may take my feedback to improve the importer next time .

    I think one of the add on change the name of images file in 09 folder .The add on append the XY resolution size behind the original file name , refer my picture. That is why the post unable to show all the associate images.

    Any way I can get back original images file in 09 folders ?

    Hi,

    There is a way to turn on the debugger for the import tool, I’ve flagged this for the developers, however without your credentials it will be hard to assist you.

    They will let you know asap.

    p.s. sorry for the misunderstanding about month folders, I thought I saw that the images where inside the July folder.

    Hi Ding,

    The images with numbers after them are featured images and they are made by WordPress, you should see them in the media library (unlike the non featured images) you can delete them from there also. If you delete a listing it will delete the most images and you wont be able to get them back unless you have a backup.
