Image Copying

    Hi,

    Is there an easy way in GD to prevent images on the site being copied?

    Hi Simon,

    I think the only way to avoid that would be to apply watermarks on uploaded images. Try some 3rd party plugins.

    There is no way to prevent someone from copying your images.

    For example, if you block right clicking to prevent me from saving the image, I can always disable javascript on my browser and workaround your block.

    If you find a better way, I can always take a screenshot.

    Watermarks could be a solution, but I can tell you already that there is no plugin that will work automatically with the GD Uploader.

    Watermarks will have to be added in advance.

    Hi,

    Thanks for letting me know – Not a major issue but if there was a quick and easy way I would have considered it. Not worth watermarking or having another plugin anyway.
