GD Example Settings

    Can you give me the setup for the example GD Page you have. This is so convoluted that it’s taking forever. Would be a lot easier if you simply provided a guide to the same settings your using so we can just move on quickly without.

    Hi Jeffrey,

    If you’re referring to our Supreme Directory demo, some of the pages are created using “Page Builders”. Have you tried one before? Such as “SiteOrigin Page Builder” which is free or “Visual Composer” which is premium. Well, give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Kor,

    I use the Kleo theme, that comes bundled with GD and Visual Builder. However, I don’t see any elements/components in the Visual Builder interface for GD.

    Hi,

    for the demo we used beaver builder that includes option to add widgets.

    I have never tested Visual Builder, I don’t know if you have options for widget or if you have to use shortcodes.

    Hi Paolo,

    Yes you can add widgets, but what widgets did you use? How did you set it up? Obviously most people buy GD because they like the way it looks and the features it offers. Why not make it easy and offer an import demo file, or “how to” set up that duplicates your demo? Makes simple sense to do so.

    Hi Jeffrey,

    because we don’t have a demo built with Kleo and Visual Builder.

    It is not possible to create a demo import file that works with any theme and builder, unless you use the GD home page, in that case adding the dummy data, also adds few widgets in all GD widgets areas.

    If you give me a link of the demo you are referring to, I’ll try to point you in the right direction.
