When you click a map marker, the popup displayed by the Whoop! theme has some issues. Please attached image for number references. The second image is from your demo and shows similar whitespace issues.
1. The listing title in blue on a faded black at top – it is virtual illegible… seems like it should be white and bold. Is this intentional?
2. The picture aspect ratio is very wide and very short – most pictures will be cropped weirdly, especially for me as I’m going to be using people’s headshots which prefer to be taller than they are wide (but could easily live with being square). Shouldn’t this layout choice be more generic (e.g. expect a square and crop as needed rather than expecting a super wide image)?
3. The text below the picture almost touches the picture with no real whitespace above it or to the left.
4. There is excessive whitespace below that text. Not that whitespace is a problem, but when there is virtually none above, this seems awkward.
5. Similar to #1, the gray “X” seems awkward too – if the listing title was done in a white/light color, could we have a transparent image that just displays the “X” part in a white/light color over that fade to black you have?
Some of this is just design preference, so please just take it as feedback, but I personally would consider some of these actual bugs (#1 in particular) but maybe it is all just design preference.
If these aren’t issues you’d want to address, is there a recommended way I could modify the layout of the popup without adversely affecting anything else?
