    1. Is it possible to remove the categories from the listings page as I only have one category?

    2. I’ve switched on the sorting options but when i search theres no sort tab to actually sort them?
    Please visit chooseyourdrivinginstructor.com if you need to search and see for yourself.

    3. Can I select a default view such as the list for search results and remove the other options?

    4 Can I remove the left hand search bar option? please see pic attached?

    Many Thanks,

    Hi Sean,

    Let me try to answer your questions accordingly.

    #1 You can remove the categories in the backend of the CPT as shown in this screenshot http://prntscr.com/erm5ls

    #2 Check out this section of the documentation and see if it helps https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#sorting

    #3 You can remove it by using custom CSS. Check out this article for more info https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/

    Thanks!

    Thanks for your reply Kor! Mine is making me keep one category, can I not completely remove it?

    Also can anyone help me with the code for removing the first half of the search bar and just keep the postcode part?

    Many thanks

    Hi Sean,

    It is compulsory for a listing to have at least one category. Could you please share your Website URL with me so I could tell you the correct CSS snippet to do this?

    Thanks!

    Hi Sean,

    Apply the custom CSS code below into GD > Design > Scripts > Custom Style CSS

    .gd-search-input-wrapper.gd-search-field-search {
        display:none!important;
    }

    Thanks!
