Well everything was working fine yesterday and then I turned it over to the customer. Go figure. Now we are not seeing all the listings on the map.
The URL is http://themindproject.net and the customer created three listings.
However, what we’re seeing now is
    1. Extreme zooming – I have the widget set to auto zoom at a level of 1
    2. Only one listing of the three on the map. Even after zooming out the other two don’t appear on the map.
I have already deactivated plug ins and reactivating as well as verified the Google Maps api and location setting.
Any help is appreciated in advance .

    Thanks,
    Dan

One additional thing the one listing that is showing up is not correctly pinned on the map at the right location. I changed the status of the one listing that is showing up (ABC Dental) to draft and the map still returns the same address but for a different listing. Should I just try getting a new Google Maps Api?

Customer told me he entered a fictious address for ABC Dental. I changed the status of that place to “Draft” but the issue remains. The other addresses are valid. There are two listings now and still only one shows up on the map.

Reset the API key for Google Maps and still no joy. Not sure what else to try.

    Hi,

I noticed that the listing entered by the customer had the full address:

    9220 SW 72nd St #205, Miami – FL

I clicked set address on map and saved.

The address now looks like this: 9220 SW 72nd St #205 and the zip code is filled. The position of the marker on the map changed, the correct lat and lon were fetched and now it shows on the home map too with the correct autozoom.

Let us know if you see anything else that isn’t correct.

    Thanks

So you’re saying it was a format issue with the way he entered the address? Am I also to assume that we only need to have the address and then the zip code in the zip code field? No need to enter the state in the address text box? Is this the correct way?

    Correct.

If the site won’t only cover Miami, you’ll need the location manager and once that is installed, you’ll get the address auto completer in the address field. (see image attached).

You are correct, state, zip and country shouldn’t be added to the address field.
If you add them and click the set address on map button, the system removes them…

    Thanks
