Blank map

    Hi,
    I suddenly got a problem with my map after uploading about 280 new schools for Tasmania.

    The map spins for a bit then goes blank.

    If I use the near me button, the map still successfully shows all the schools in my area so I figure, the google api must still be ok.

    If I click on the button to see the large map, I get the multi version of the world map and it shows that the Tasmanian schools have located successfully and populated the map. I can then zoom in.

    I have not changed any GeoDirectory map settings, just uploaded new schools.

    Why is my map not looking normal.

    I took it off the main navigation to avoid confusing people while it is down.

    Please have a look.

    Oh, yay. My map is back and working.

    Don’t know how you could pick which one was out. Is there a trick to this I can learn (easily)?

    I first selected Tassie from the /aaa-guust/ page
    Then I scrolled through the category pages like /schools/tasmania/page/3/ until I found the map on that page was broken That means one of the listings on that page is the culprit. Then I just checked the ones on that page.

    PS: used to live in Tassie for quite a few years 🙂

    Thanks, Will keep that in mind as probably not the last time it will happen.

    Righto, maybe some schools you recognised then. You have moved a long way.
