Update Issues

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    I just installed WP Easy Updates and activated it on my site. I cannot see any updates are available. I have refreshed the updates page.

    However when I visit my downloads page (https://wpgeodirectory.com/your-account/), I note that my site is out of date. For example, Custom Post Types is at 1.3.5, but on my site it is 1.3.4, and there is no option to upgrade.

    I also note that on my site it is telling me to manually update the payments manager. On my site it is version 1.4.4, and on my downloads page it is also 1.4.4. Since the manual update process for this plugin looks convoluted, why would I need to do anything now? Can’t I wait for the payments manager to be added to the easy updates plugin?

    Feeling a bit disgruntled here by how difficult updating seems to be.

    Update: now the other plugins (e.g. custom post types) are available to update. I don’t know why there was a few minutes delay.

    However, my question about payments manager remains: do I really need to go through the process of updating manually when it doesn’t even look like an update is ready?
