I am just setting up my directory and testing from front end as a user at the same time. I have a questions which I hope can be answered. I have looked through the forum and can only find old answers to these.
1. When a new user registers they are immediately logged. However there are no messages to say “Thank you for Registering you are now logged in and can begin your listing” or similar wording. Or even being directed to an information page which explains how to do the listing etc. The home page is just presented. If you dont realise you are already logged in you can perhaps think ok what now!
I found some php in the forum for adding to a file but which file is it added and because it was dated 2015 has this possibility already been included in an update. Could you please let me know what the options are.
2. I have created some top level categories ie Clinic, Private, Mobile and have created some sub categories. However all of the sub categories can be any of the above 3 but when you create them you can only allocate one. So Clinic as main category then Acupunture as the Sub – but it could also be selected by someone else and come under one of the others.
Please can you advise.
