Merging Cities on Separate Pages

(I have the latest updates for Geodirectory and WordPress)

I have a very large directory with 1023 locations and I can’t find a way to merge two different city spellings when they fall on separate pages. My problem is the St. vs Saint cities.
For example, I have Saint Augustine, FL and St. Augustine, Florida. When I search ‘Augustine’ it displays zero results. It appears to only be able to find locations when I enter the the name starting from the beginning, which limits my search function to Fl and S if I want to bring up both of the St. Augustine cities. Unfortunately, there are still too many locations between Saint and St. to show them both on the same page even after limiting my search results.

Possible solutions:
Is there a way to expand the number of results on one search page?
Is there a way to search by the second word of the city and receive results?
Am I missing a way to merge two cities from 2 separate pages?
