Hi… We are using the Divi theme and are having an issue on the GeoDirectory pages on the site. The fixed navigation is supposed to get a transparent background when you scroll down on the page. It works fine on all of our pages except any page that is associated with the GeoDirectory plugin. I assume there might be a conflict with either some of the javascript or css. Would anyone have any ideas on how to fix the issue.
You can see the site here: https://nysmaple.com/sugarmaker-directory/. If you visit this page https://nysmaple.com/about-nys-maple/nutrition/ you’ll see how the menu is supposed to behave.
I appreciate any help!
Thank you,
JeffFebruary 16, 2018 at 5:47 pm #417935Hello!
I inspected it and took a look at the CSS and couldn’t find anything obvious. It could be as simple as restating the various styles associated with the menu and adding !important. There are no JS errors in the console.
Where have you applied the Divi settings? At the page level? Like, on the GD Home page ‘Page’?
Are you already using the Divi compatibility?

I would start by seeing if restating the CSS that makes the color green, for instance, could be restated with !important to make sure it gets more priority.

February 16, 2018 at 6:02 pm #417940I do have the DIVI Theme compatibility on and the settings for the menu are applied to the customizer. I noticed on the pages where it works that the following two divs:
<div id=”page-container”>
<div id=”top-header” class=””>get these classes added to them on scroll:
<div id=”page-container” class=”et-animated-content”>
<div id=”top-header” class=”et-fixed-header”>That seems like the obvious issue. The problem is I can’t figure out why they are not triggering on the GeoDirectory page.
February 16, 2018 at 6:29 pm #417946Thanks for the info Jeff.
Are you running any cache plugins now?
We would be happy to take a look at your settings to see if we can find the problem.

The two sites links you sent are not the same as the login you sent?

February 20, 2018 at 5:06 pm #418450Sorry about that.. it is actually the pages on both sites but really the https://mapleweekend.nysmaple.com and the directory pages on this site. In fact, this page is all messed up now: https://mapleweekend.nysmaple.com/maple-weekend-sugarmakers/
So the login I gave you is for the site that is having the issue.

February 20, 2018 at 7:36 pm #418462The menu seems to darken on that page?

February 20, 2018 at 7:57 pm #418464Well it does except the map and the layout of the geodirectoy pages is now to the top of the page. It should be below the header. Also, the footer is supposed to be full width and ideally the listings. Somehow the background shows now but the entire page layout is messed up.
February 21, 2018 at 10:38 am #418555I see what you mean about the footer, but for the header how do you expect it to work? Should the map be pushed down to show the leafs or the leafs should show over the map?
Stiofan
February 21, 2018 at 12:51 pm #418575The map should be pushed down to below the menu to match the other pages on the site. If we can do that and still keep the menu functionality working we should be all set.
February 21, 2018 at 7:07 pm #418646I have moved the map down.

Thank you for your help with that but we still have the remaining issues with the page template. When you scroll, the menu background color does not change on top of the map. The footer is still messed up and the listings were at one point without the right column or right column divider. The map is also loading much higher than the content on the other pages.
