    Hi,

I am using GD with Supreme Directory theme.

I would like to use a lightbox plugin to display WP image attachments in WP pages using GD shortcodes.

    This is an example page:

    https://inforoses.com/

I tried a couple of plugins without success:

    Simple Lightbox
    https://es.wordpress.org/plugins/simple-lightbox/

WP Featherlight – A Simple jQuery Lightbox
    https://es.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-featherlight/

I would like to ask you for some advice or recomendation.

I look forward to your reply.

Thank you very much for your attention.

    Best regards.

    Hi jotomas,

Thanks for your post. I don’t see any image attachments here https://inforoses.com/ that can be opened in a lightbox. Could you pinpoint it with a screenshot? Feature listing images cannot be opened in a lightbox.

    Hi Kor,

Thank you very much for your response.

    Please, find screenshot attached.

I believe that those marked in red are image attachments, are not them?

Either they are or are not, do you know of any way to be able to open them in a lightbox?

I look forward to your reply.

Thanks once again for your attention.

    Best regards.

    Hi Jotomas,

Thanks for your reply. That’s the listing feature image and it would require customization to achieve what you needed there. Feel free to find a developer here http://geodirectoryexperts.com/ that could assist you with this.

    Hi Kor,

I do not think that it is the listing featured image, but an image attached by means of “Insert – Add Media” (see attached Screenshot 1) in a CPT HTML field (see attached Screenshot 2).

Do you know of some way to be able to show it in a lightbox?

I look forward to your reply.

Thanks once again for your attention.

    Best regards.

    Hi Jotomas,

Thanks for your reply and I’m sorry for not paying much attention here. Let me have a look at the backend. Could you please provide WP admin access in private reply?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Geodirectory doesn’t have any features for handling images inside of HTML fields.

It looks like you are in control of those listings, so you can edit all the description text yourself to make it behave the way you want.

Many of the lightbox plugins ‘work’ based on custom classes. You might try looking for one that explains how to add ‘class-xyz’ to your inline image to make it open in a lightbox.

If you need help with that customization please feel free to contact one of the GD Experts at : https://geodirectoryexperts.com

    Hi Alex,

I have found the way to add ‘class-xyz’ to the inline image, but I have not found any plugin that works with it as I would like. The only one that I have found to work with it ( https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/ultimate-lightbox/ ) is not responsive and has an odd behaviour.

Do you know about some other that does the job well?

I look forward to your reply.

Thank you very much once again for your attention.

    Best regards.

I do not, no, and we do not recommend any one in particular.
