CPT linking

    Hi,

    I’m wondering if you can tell me how and where this is implemented so that I can better understand how it works. I have read most of what has been posted about it here but I’m still not getting it. I see only where you check the box for it in the pricing settings, at the very bottom of all the settings.

    For example, if it is supposed to allow the crossing of the post types, then in my case, would you then somehow ‘link’ a classified with a business listing? I get where you can connect (or disallow) a link between a business listing and an events listing. Is this an example of linking CPTs? Maybe it is that obvious. But what else? Am I missing something?

    Yes, it could be linking a classified listing with a business listing.

    I read the documentation several times, over and over. I think I am starting to understand. I am still looking for where and how this is implemented. My developer said that it requires an additional plugin. However I still don’t see where the CPT linking mechanism is in the dashboard. And I wonder if it is true that it requires an additional plugin (like the list manager does).

    I also want to understand what part of it is referred to where it says that it has to be done by the admin.

    Hello,

    the screenshots from the Usage section of the document are from the Add Listing page, as opposed to the WP Dashboard/Backend. This is the setting that is available to the listing author/owner from the frontend. They can make a link back to another listing that they own.

    The screenshots to set up the link between CPTs are from the dashboard
    GD > Custom Post Types > Model CPT (example only) > Advanced Mode > Link business.
