    Hi!

I just converted with success a Geotheme to Geodirectory. Everything is working fine after the migration (I tested everything on my MAMP localhost, add to listing, add comment and so on).

After migrating and publisinh online to my server, everything is running fine… BUT… I cannot add listings. It goes all the time from the Listing Preview back to the Add Listing.

Plus, I cannot add comments. It keeps saying: ERROR: The comment could not be saved. Please try again later.

Any idea? I am getting crazy, since in my MAMP localhost is working perfectly fine.

    Thanks.

    Hi Martin,

Please share the URL of the site in question so we can take a better look at it and also WP temp admin access to your site. You can post the details here using the private reply option below.

In the meantime, perform the “Search and Replace” for your Website and see if it helps. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/better-search-replace-plugin/ . Example. replacing http://localhost/wp with http://www.mynewwebsite.com

Meanwhile I checked the MySQL Database, and it seems that some tables doesnt have AUTOINCREMENT, like for example wp_posts (see attachment).

Do you think thats the problem? If so, how to solve it?

Its so annoying after doing this long migration, having this issue of not being able to add listings or comments…

Another weird thing: instead of “Publish” button, I have a “Submit for Review” when Add a New Post/Page, even though I am Admin.

    hi!

Ok, meanwhile I believe that I fixed the issue.

It seems that when I imported the database, the database tables lost the Autoincrement (needed for the ID columns). Just needed to check the A_I checkbox on PHPMy Admin, on each table (mostly the main ones from WordPress) that are connected with the ID Column (I send attached a pic of the checkbox).

If someone will have a similar issue, just check this:

    http://serversideguy.com/2018/01/31/wordpress-admin-is-seeing-submit-for-review-instead-of-publish-how-do-i-fix-that/

    and this

    https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/225641/wordpress-database-lost-auto-increment?utm_medium=organic&utm_source=google_rich_qa&utm_campaign=google_rich_qa

I will check if everything is fine, if not, I will comeback.

Thanks anyway for the availability to help 😉
