At the moment i just have a block of writing on my homepage content area. Could you tell me how to change it so it has multiple tables like this (https://www.liveryyards.com/) which users can switch between- At the moment the front page content is from a page “GD Home page”. I cannot seem to see then changes I need to make to add the tabs like that or to add the content for each tab (ie whether this would be inserted under widgets for the home page content or via another way) . Thanks

    Hi Cheryl,

If you are referring to the tab below the search bar, that is created using a page builder. Have you given it a try?

    Thanks!

Hi Kor, Thanks for the reply- there are similar elements on my individual listings created via the settings on GD but am unsure as to how to get the same style tabs on the home page. Is this something already built-in on the platform (on the Pages section?)- or a plugin I need. If you can point me I the right direction I am sure I can work it out it’s just knowing where to look! Thanks

Geodirectory is not a ‘page builder’. It may be possible to discover what 3rd party plugin or builder is used on the site you referenced, a developer may be able to figure that out.

In the past we have seen our members use a wide variety of builders, many of which feature tabs like that.

Geodirectory itself, though, is not a builder and does not come with a feature that allow building text based tabs into a page.

Geodirectory offers shortcodes to call listings, though, and the detail page for listings features tabs, which look similar but the feature is limited to the detail pages, and is built into Geodirectory.

In one of our blog posts several builders are mentioned that might be worth a look: https://wpgeodirectory.com/gutenberg-vs-page-builders/

The mentioned page is based on Divi/Divi Builder.

    Tab example:

Thanks (and thanks for that pointer Dirk). I have found a couple of plugins that may do the job so will have a play. Thanks again
