    Hello and Happy new year!

    After a nice clean install of wordpress and V2 I’m off to figuring out the way things work now starting with the CPT Places and custom fields. Right away I’m lost with “Expire Date”.

    Expire Date is new. What is this? Is there documentation somewhere that explains this and other new things or perhaps explains everything? I hope so because I don’t want to have to come here for every little unclear and/or new thing to post, wait, clarify, wait, and so on. I know it’s in beta but I also know you would like us to help by using and reporting on the beta. So, tutorial videos and documentation would be extremely helpful for us to be helpful 🙂

    That was previously only visible in the backend on the right sidebar. Now it is available in the frontend, but only visible to admins. It is the date the listing expires, and used on listings that have a package assigned.

    Oh, so only admins will see this, can admins set and/or change the date or is it something that the package sets?

    Ah, I just realized I totally forgot about the “Help” drop down at the top right of the GD Dashboard 😉

    It is set automatically, just as in GDV1, and it can be changed, just as in GDV1.

    The difference is that Admins don’t have to go to the backend page to reach the field, should they want to access it.
