After updating to the newest versions of these plugins today:

Seeing Author Widget when Not Signed. I tried on various browsers, browsers that have never been to the site, and in private browsing and for some reason this listing is showing author widget in the side bar:

    https://whocaniget.com/services/united-states/north-carolina/shelby/general/pipe-fitter/

For some reason this listing isn’t showing author widget:

    https://whocaniget.com/services/south-africa/western-cape/cape-town/general/travel-consultant/

The one that is not showing the widget is a listing I did not create. The listing that is showing the widget is one that I created but I’m not signed in so how in the world is this happening?

If I try to use the widget when not signed in by clicking “Add Listing” in the menu the widget doesn’t work even though it is there and appears to work (of course it shouldn’t work, it shouldn’t even be there). For example if I try to delete the listing a popup comes up asking me if I’m sure I want to delete it. And the edit button goes to edit listing but the listing details are not there in the fields accept the city “shelby” is in the city field and I assume that should be blank.

When not signed in the add listing link doesn’t go to “you must be logged in”.

I was very excited about this update but right away I’m like, did anyone test it? 🙁

I went to my other site https://thingstodoinnc.com/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place with V2 installed that hasn’t been updated to today’s most recent version. I noticed if I click on Add Listing it does show the login form but that doesn’t work. When trying to sign in it just goes straight to the next login page, the UWP login page where I have to enter login credentials again and this page works.

Can we have WP admin and FTP please. No-one else has reported this and I cannot replicate that on my test site. Thanks

    Hello,

Seeing Author Widget when Not Signed. I tried on various browsers, browsers that have never been to the site, and in private browsing and for some reason this listing is showing author widget in the side bar.

I checked and found that there is no author assigned to listing “Pipe Fitter”. Because of this author widget shows even for non-logged user. All listings must have any author assigned to them. Please assign any author to that listing.

We will also fix from our side so it also validate empty author to show/hide author action widget.

Please explain more with some example/steps how to replicate issue.

    Kiran

This was probably left over from the bug where authors were not being assigned to listings, which has been fixed now. If it happens again let us know.

Ah, yes, Alex is probably right in regard to the issue in relation to no author being associated, we’ll delete all those listings and try again 🙂 I suppose if not having an author assigned isn’t something that is going to be a thing then that may not be an issue.

As for the other site, ThingsToDoInNC.com with the previous version plugins and login issue, I went ahead and updated it so it’s working with the new updates as it should. Now it shows a notification and link to login so all is good there! Thanks guys!!!

I hate that it’s Friday and I have a long few days ahead of me. I would love to start testing all this again!
