Can't change the layout in the Geodirectory Design layout for Details

I am writing about several issues. Can you address them all? They all kind of related.

I downloaded the latest geodirectory gdf modern child theme.

1) I can’t change the (grid/column) layout in the Geodirectory Design layout for Details. I have clicked on the layout and saved the changes, but the changes aren’t reflected.

2) The search form comes in under the navbar and in the container space in the listings page. http://iwedmark.com/index.php/places/united-states/california/san-francisco/attractions/rittenhouse-square/ From what I can see in the tutorial video and your website, the search should come in the navbar.

3) Is there more than 1 child theme for the Geodirectory framework? There are several child themes for the Genesis child theme.
