Hi, when filling out the ‘Add a listing’ form. We receive ‘required field’ errors even though there is information within this fields.

    Hello,

I added a test place listing and didn’t see this issue in the backend editor.

Your screenshot shows the frontend editor, but you don’t appear to have GD Author Actions set to display on the detail page.

How can I take the steps needed to recreate the issue?

If you use either the add listing button in the top menu or the login/sign up link. Once signed up or in hopefully it will redirect to the add listing page.

    Thanks

Hmm…try clearing your cache. I just used the frontend form and I didn’t see the issue.

    Which browser are you using?

Hi, sorry I had to remove the ‘is required’ function for testing, so I’ll put that back in. To me it looks like it’s the logo upload field which is causing the issue. It doesn’t seem to detect that a logo is there. Even with the ‘is required’ off when a logo is uploaded it isn’t detected in the logo area for the listings. I had to manually go back in and add it once the listing was approved.

    I hope that helps.

Also, when a user logs in, there listing doesn’t appear in their dashboard. Have I missed something?

    Thanks

So, you want logo to be required, and so you set that in the custom field “is required”?
And then, when you upload a logo, even though it is uploaded, it continues to say is required, have I got it right?

    Yes exactly.

Then, during testing, we disabled the ‘is required’ feature and uploaded a logo to a test listing.

When we approved the listing and viewed it in the search listing, the logo didn’t show but one of the gallery images did instead. We then manually went into the listing a re-added the logo which was then accepted and worked.

    Hello Gavin,

The issue has been fixed and updated on your site too. Please check after clearing your browser cache.
There was a conflict between field id & website logo id.

    Let us know.

    Kiran
