Need assistance with CSS and search bar field text

    If you look at the attachment the text in the far right field is barely visible both the default value and when you type into your search parameters into that field. I need to change to a different color and transparency to make it more visible to my users. I tried using Inspect but had no luck in isolating the CSS that I need to change.

    When the user clicks in the field it should get darker. Have you tried that?
    Please provide a link to the page so we can see if it is loading the defaults or there is a theme override in place.

    I was able to play around with the theme settings and finally had a little success in fixing this…..thanks.
