    Hello,

    Recently got v2 working on a staging site. Needed workaround as the ‘update’ buttons did not work, added v2 addons updates via FTP and then update completed fine.

    Now can’t get category permalinks to display/filter as expected.

    url/cptname/category/restaurants/ — does NOT actually filter by category. It lists ALL places, where my expectation is that it should list ONLY restaurants.

    I have double checked permalinks per forum posts;
    (now at /%category%/%postname%/)
    I have tried multiple archive templates overrides, including Auto;
    I have changed to default theme;
    I have deactivated all other plugins.

    Still, the /category/abccat/ link returns ALL listings.

    I’m certain I’m missing something simple as this is my first foray into a converted WPGD database. Guidance on how to resolve would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    WP 5.1.1
    Avada 5.9
    WPGD 2.0.0.54
    with Locations, Pricing, Adv Search, addons

    I didn’t want location in the url, so ‘archive urls’ and ‘archive urls on details’ are both disabled.

    URLs are ok after resaving permalinks.
    Looks like you are editing the archive page template, let us know how it goes.
    If all else fails try restoring the default content from

    GD – Settings – General – Pages – Archive -Default content

    Yes, I was in working on it. And I finally figured to do just that, reset the default content. It is working now – sometimes it’s the easy things we miss. 🙂

    I just need to figure out the revised setup, as I’ll have a different ‘all’ listings page (which is what I was creating and messed up the archive).

    Thanks. Have a great day.
