    Hello,

A listing has a package that allows for certain data fields to display on the front end (say, ‘facebook’ ’email’ and ‘twitter’). Subsequently, if that listing is changed (or expires/is downgraded) to a package level that does not include the frontend display of those items, the display of that information also disappears in my admin panel.

Do I have something set up wrong? That data should still appear to me in my admin panel, even if the listing package was downgraded to one that does not display it on the frontend.

    Thanks.

That is by design, the fields are always hidden if they are excluded from the package.

    Hey Alex,

I totally understand that for the front end. But why hide them in admin?

Let’s say a listing had been a Premium package with items like an email address – good contact info, but which may not display in their expired (now converted to free) listing. As an admin, I can’t even see that contact info to be able to reach back out to them about upgrading their package – without needing to upgrade their package just to see it?

Do you see what I mean?

    Thanks.

The data remain in the db so you definitely can.

By switching it back to the premium package, the info should appear.

Don’t save so it will remain on the lower package.

As admin you can also check the db or export via CSV.

We hide the info, because the form is always the same both in front and back end for consistencies.

    Admin can make mistakes too.

    Thanks

    Hey Paolo,

“Admin can make mistakes too.” — so very true… 🙂

OK, this makes sense, especially the csv export part.

Thank you for the followup. Have a great day.
