Category icon font awesome brand doesn't display.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Place category, select any category, and set the Category icon to “fab fa-bitcoin”.
    2. (This uses font awesome brands, not font awesome free.)
    3. On the category listing, this category is displayed as
    <i class=”fas fab fa-bitcoin” aria-hidden=”true”></i>
    When it should only say
    <i class=”fab fa-bitcoin” aria-hidden=”true”></i>

    Notice the extra fas that shouldn’t be present.
    Because of that categories cannot display font awesome brand icons.

    Solution: it should display exactly the icon configured in the category icon settings: “fab fa-bitcoin”

    We have FA Pro support in an upcoming version. Please wait for that release, this week or next, to try it out and let us know.

    This is a bug and has nothing to do with FA Pro. You’re adding an extra class “fas” that shouldn’t be there.

    You are right, the fas was prefixed when we first converted to FAv5 as it makes old and new work but breaks brands, i have remvoed it now, anyone still using FAv4 icons should have updated by now.

    This will be in the next release (later today).
