How not to show url "View all" if you don't need it?

    There are cases when the page shows all previews of listings that meet the filter settings. But below the listing there is a url “View all”. If the user clicks on it, they will see the listings they have already seen on the previous page. I think it would be nice if in such cases url “View all” was not shown.

    What do you think about this?

    Hi Alexander,

    Thanks for your post. You can remove the view all link by removing the “view_all_link” parameter on your GD listing shortcode as shown below. 

    [gd_listings post_type="gd_place" sort_by="az" title_tag="h3" layout="1" post_limit="5" add_location_filter="1" view_all_link="1" bottom_pagination="1"]

    I don’t think that’s the solution I need. This solution removes the link anyway, and I need a solution to keep the link on the page if there are more listings than I put on the page. I have 4 columns in my design, so if there are less than 5 listings, the link should not be shown.

    I will make a note of the idea for the developers to consider but right now the “View all” function does not work that way, so, to make it work that way would be a customization.

    I’d appreciate it if you could provide the patch before the updates. This is important, otherwise the link misleads the user.

    We will not be able to do that, but you can disable “View all” if you think it is causing a problem for your site visitors.
