Extend trial period

    Hi There,

    We have set two packages for our customers free and premium. Premium packages have 2 months trial period. Once the trial period is over, they get charged every month. Few of our customers requested to extend the trial period. However, our Paypal account is set to charge them every 2 months. Can you please suggest any solutions in that case? If it is not possible through the GD plugin, is there anything I can do on our Paypal account?

    Hello,

    the answer could only be in the options that Paypal provides. If they don’t offer that, then the listing owner would need to resubscribe for a new package.

    Can you suggest any plugins that we can use to update the subscriptions using the Paypal Subscription API:

    I spoke with the developers and they said that although this is not possible with tools within the site that yes, it may be possible within the gateway. Stripe definitely has tools for adjusting subscriptions, and maybe Paypal also. We don’t have any particular recommendation for specific other tools. I do not see anything in that API reference that sounds like ‘adding 2 months to the trial period’. Could it not be as simple as refunding billing cycle payments?

    Thank you for the information. I will give Stripe a try. looks like for now refunding is the only option.
