    I would like to add a button for Linkedin next to the facebook social media icons on the top of the listing page. Also I would like to add a compare button next to the phone field.

    I would like to add a button for Linkedin next to the facebook social media icons on the top of the listing page.

    Do you mean the LinkedIn link for the listing? Or the share buttons on the right hand side?

    Also I would like to add a compare button next to the phone field.

    You can edit this file:
    /wp-content/themes/supreme-directory/template-parts/header//public_html/v2/wp-content/themes/supreme-directory/template-parts/header

    Thanks

    I’ve edited that file but the shortcode didn’t work

    What is the shortcode you used to add the LinkedIn link?

    I forgot to mention before but the compare options can only work on pages that show different listings.
    On a detail page there’s nothing to compare with.

    Thanks

    $linkedin = ‘[gd_post_meta key=”linkedin” condition=”is_not_empty” icon_class=”fab fa linkedin fa-fw” link=”%%input%%” new_window=”1″ bg_color=”#2b4be8″ txt_color=”#ffffff” alignment=”left”]’;

    Add this somewhere around line 100:

    $social_shortcodes .= '[gd_post_badge key="linkedin" condition="is_not_empty" icon_class="fab fa-linkedin" link="%%input%%" new_window="1" bg_color="#85a9b5" txt_color="#ffffff" alignment="left"]';

    Let us know. Thanks

    Have you adjusted for the correct field key for the custom field?
    Does the listing have data entered for that field?

    $social_shortcodes .= ‘[gd_post_badge key=”linkedin” condition=”is_not_empty” icon_class=”fab fa-linkedin” link=”%%input%%” new_window=”1″ bg_color=”#85a9b5″ txt_color=”#ffffff” alignment=”left”]’;

    Is the code placed in header-single-top.php

    The custom field under “Places” > Settings is a URL field with Field Key = linkedin

    The value is filled in for the listing, but still does not show.

    If you post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply, and also FTP details, and a direct link to the listing with the linkedin details, then we can have a look if you like.

    Thanks
