Hi all,

One of the things I love about GeoDirectory is the level of support you guys offer. Responsiveness is a huge plus as well. 🙂

Onto my situation:
WP v4.3.
GeoDirectory v1.5.1
GDF Modern theme v1.0.0

I’ve been having trouble figuring out how to set my permalink so that the plugin structures all new data and business pages to be as so:

http://www.domain.com/dentist/dr-brian-office/

Essentially, …/category/practice-name/

Do you guys have any suggestions on specific actions I can take to make this change?

HI Brian,

The least permalink you could have would be /CUSTOM_POST_TYPE_NAME/POST_NAME/
If you had GD CPT manager installed you could do that /dentist/dr-brian-office/
OR
If you dont have CPT manager installed it could be /places/dentist/dr-brian-office/
where “dentist” is the category. You can set this in GD>Permalinks> show category in slug.
